She graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, DC in 1996 after majoring in finance, with a minor in government. Kathy became involved with St. Genevieve Catholic School as part of her work with the Big Shoulders Fund (BSF), a volunteer and philanthropic organization that works to support Catholic schools in Chicago’s inner city to ensure all children have access to a quality education. She is on the Board of Big Shoulders Fund, serves as a member of BSF’s investment committee, and is a member of the BSF Chairman’s Advisory Council. She lives in Chicago with her husband Kevin Preloger and their two children.
David Mota retired from JP Morgan Chase after a thirty year career. His last position was as an IT Project Manager, and held the position of Vice President. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois. His daughter Rachel graduated from St. Genevieve School, class of 1988. David feels that the strong Catholic education his daughter received at St. Genevieve School was a springboard, which has led to a successful career in the educational field. She is currently a Principal at a CPS elementary school. David works closely with the school to ensure that it continues to offering others the same quality Catholic education his daughter received.
